This can be a very exciting  for an international student and the CISP International Team is here to help with a few resources.  Below are a few helpful tools to navigate the student immigration process.

What is the SEVIS Fee?  The SEVIS Fee is a general fee associated with F-1 or J-1 visa application processes that is assessed by the U.S. Government; it is very similar to a visa application fee.  You must pay the SEVIS Fee before visiting the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General for the visa application process.  For more information, or to pay the SEVIS Fee, visit or  If you have trouble paying the SEVIS Fee, please contact the International Center at:

Photo Contest

The 2nd Annual Education Abroad and International Student Photo Contest

Call for Entries!

The Center for International Services and Programs cordially invites you to participate in our 2nd Annual Photo Contest! Submit an original photo that you feel represents your experience abroad or your experience in the United States and you will be competing to win big prizes, a $250 first place prize, $150 second place prize, or a $75 third place prize. In addition, the photo with the most Facebook likes will have the chance to compete for a bookstore gift card!

Submissions begin October 10th and will be accepted until November 7th (Friday, October 10th- Friday, November 7th).
